What happens when Dora the Explorer tries to decode Gen Z slang? Pure, internet chaos, in the best way possible.
For this viral series, Dora broke down terms like “demure,” “sigma,” and “it’s giving” with her signature earnestness, creating a perfect storm of humor, nostalgia, and secondhand embarrassment. As design lead, I guided the character animation process, ensuring Dora’s reactions and movements hit that sweet spot between educational and unhinged.
The result was a set of videos that owned the comment section, garnering millions of views, thousands of debates, and officially putting Dora back in the pop culture spotlight.
