BOTTLE CAP CHALLENGE
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS

When the Bottle Cap Challenge swept social media in summer 2019, I saw an opportunity to get SpongeBob in on the fun.
Using existing show footage, I produced, edited, and composited a motion sequence that made it look like SpongeBob himself was flawlessly kicking the cap off a bottle—square pants and all.
The result was a quick-turn, trend-driven piece that blended Nickelodeon humor with motion design craft, giving fans a hilarious “how’d they do that?” moment while keeping the brand right in the middle of the cultural conversation.
